The Certificate III in Glass and Glazing provides apprentices with the skills and knowledge required to perform a range of glass and glazing job roles, including safely manufacturing, processing, moving and installing various types of glass, and handling glass materials and components.

Studying the Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (Glazing) at Holmesglen

The course is delivered in Holmesglen's specially designed facilities, where the emphasis is placed on providing hands-on training wherever possible.<p>The glazing stream is suited to those wishing to work in the glass and glazing industry, specifically in the installation of glass in buildings.

Entry Requirements

There are no pre-requisites for this course but as this is an apprenticeship delivery, all students must have an employer and a valid Apprenticeship Contract in place prior to commencement.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. Apprenticeship
