Studying the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping at Holmesglen

Gain expertise in accounting with our comprehensive course that covers a wide range of skills, such as preparing financial reports, operating computerised accounting systems, completing business activity and instalment activity statements (BAS), and establishing and maintaining payroll systems.<p>We equip you with the ability to adapt and be agile to keep pace with the constantly evolving financial services industry. This course will prepare you for roles such as assistant accountant, account clerk, bookkeeper or BAS agent, making it a perfect stepping stone for your career in accounting.

Entry Requirements

Students are also required to complete a literacy and numeracy test (BKSB) with the International department as part of their enrolment.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
