Delve into the realm of social media technologies, explore the power of 'The Cloud,' and master essential productivity tools like Office 365, Google Docs, Dropbox, Zoom, and more.<p>The ICT30120 Certificate III in Information Technology includes cyber security units that heighten your awareness of contemporary cyber threats and their potential impact on both your workplace and personal data. You'll learn to identify and mitigate these threats effectively.<p>Holmesglen provides additional support through Open Lab sessions, where experienced teachers offer mentorship and guidance throughout your learning journey.<p>This program offers a hybrid format, allowing you to attend in person on campus or participate remotely via scheduled live WebEx sessions, all following a provided timetable. Mandatory attendance is recorded and monitored.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 17 years of age.<p>There are no entry requirements as per the Training Package. However, Holmesglen requires learners who undertake this program require digital literacy skills and the ability to:<br>• turn on a computer<br>• use a mouse and keyboard<br>• open and close a software application
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
