Overview

This Diploma of Event Management has been developed with a strong focus on experiential learning at festivals, conferences, and stadium productions. Students work closely with industry experts to gain the skills and knowledge needed to create, develop, and stage special events while coordinating a team in an efficient and productive manner.

  • SIT60222 Advanced Diploma of Event Management, or an advanced diploma or degree program in a variety of disciplines.

VCE or equivalent, or<br>mature age (at least 18 years of age)<br>obtain a volunteer Working with Children Check
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. <strong>Timetable</strong><p>3 days per week and some weekends<p>To receive this qualification, you must complete 20 units in total, comprising of 11 core units and 9 elective units. Elective units have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from industry and staff qualifications.<p>If learners have already completed other eligible elective units, these may be counted towards completion of this course.

Assessment
